The photography club of GIPS is devoted to promoting the art of photography among the students by bringing together those who are interested in helping each other to shoot better pictures. As well as to educate, encourage and enhance photographic knowledge and skills.
A photography club is formed to find out one’s self-creation in a certain domain thereby extending their learning. This develops knowledge and their internal power and imagination by showcasing the photos with what elements to exclude, what angle to frame the photo, to express an impression of objects in a subjective form.
Thus, to bring out talents among the students, GIPS has started a “Photography Club” to motivate them and inspire them to excel in their careers in the field of interest in photography.
OBJECTIVE OF THE CLUB:
The aim of the club is to foster the following abilities:
- To develop creative skills among the students.
- To encourage the student to express their thoughts and emotions through the art of photography.
- To make students learn the transformation of technical facts into real time-applications.
- To encourage and see how students compile and edit pictures and get a strong visual aesthetic.
OUTCOME OF THE CLUB:
Through this club the students will be able to foster the following abilities:
- Students will have a comprehensive understanding of the photography industry.
- Students will be able to understand photography.
- Provide photographic instruction and mentoring
