Finquisitive: The Finance Club | GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies

Finquisitive is a series of events like Knowledge Sharing Sessions, Quizzes, and Workshops to impart the knowledge of finance to the batch. The events are conducted throughout the academic year and are a mix of activities. The main objective of this club is to bridge the gap between theoretical learning & Practice. The club is coordinated by Dr. Sadhana Gupta and CMA Manoj Vij and is run & managed by the students interested in the finance area.

The club aims to work towards boosting the interest in Finance on the campus and also helping students in their “Campus to Corporate” journey. The club conducts various inter-college competitions, quizzes, webinars, etc. to make students well prepared for the national competitions and placements.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CLUB:

To provide a comprehensive understanding of the finance industry, including its related jobs and certificates.
To encourage students’ interest in Finance by relating the experiences of students, professors, experts, and alumni.
To foster an environment amongst the students to discuss recent trends and developments in the field of finance.
To provide specialization in the areas of Banking, Share markets, Insurance, and Corporate Finance.
To give a platform to the students to bring out their best and improvise upon their concepts with a better practical understanding.
